WHAT IS TOPLIFE?

Hi!

I’m ChiTheBuilder and I’m the solo developer of toplife.

I’ve been working on this game for about 8 months now and I’m really happy that I am at a point where I have a lot to share with you.

What is TopLife?

TopLife is a text-based life simulator game that is focused on creating immersive experiences. Being able to make choices is a given but what kind of choices can you make? how does the world react to your choices? Without the burden of graphics, I can focus on making the possibilities endless.

You are in full control of your character’s choices. Want to live with your parents till you die? Move out and get a roommate? Couch surf at your friend’s place? Start a family with your best friend? Be a deadbeat parent? Focus on climbing the corporate ladder? Become a stay-at-home parent? Start your own business? Employ your children? Stay at your daughter’s house for a few days to help with the new baby? Turn to a life of crime? Turn a new leaf after your prison sentence? Start a cult? Start a secluded cult? Have a first family? Have a second family that thinks they are your first family? Have a third family? Learn a language? Take a vacation?

The choice is yours and you have many generations to explore different paths. Every life is completely different and every character has their own story.

NPCs are a key part of the game. They have personalities, opinions, and dreams just like your character. You get to learn about them, influence and be influenced by them as well.

You exist in a world that is alive and you get to leave your mark on it.
